1. The two sides also discussed the problem of inundation in the border areas between Nepal and India and agreed that the Joint Ministerial Commission on Water Resources should address these issues regularly, and the agreed work would be implemented expeditiously.

दोनों पक्षों ने भारत और नेपाल के बीच सीमावर्ती क्षेत्रों में बाढ़ की समस्या पर भी चर्चा की और इस पर सहमत हुए कि जल संसाधन संबंधी संयुक्त मंत्रालयी आयोग इन समस्याओं पर नियमित रूप से ध्यान देगा और सम्मत कार्य को तेजी से कार्यान्वित किया जाएगा ।
